Mobirise publishing crashes

I have seen many postings about Mobirise crashing when publishing, but I haven't seen any fixes. I just upgraded to Mobirise 5.9.25 (I was using 5.9.18 and still had same problem). Whether I publish to ftp (which has always worked) or even to local drive folder, Mobirise will prepare the files and then crash - the program goes all white.

I have tried toggling publishing changes only off and on. Still doesn't work.

I have tried toggling Resize images off and on. Still doesn't work.

I have tried toggling Convert images to Wedp images off and on. Still doesn't work.

Theme name is 4. I have rebooted my PC many times in hopes to clear any cache. I cleaned up unused images. Not sure what to do next. Is there a limit as to how many pages mobirise can handle?

Everything you've done is likely not related to your problem.

If the program freezes or crashes during local or remote publishing, it could be due to a faulty block or, in the worst case, an issue with the entire project file named "project.mobirise".

There should typically be an error message - do you see any error messages at all during publishing - or do you see the page name at which Mobirise freezes?

Do you have any idea about what you last changed and on which page that was? If so, it’s best to delete that page, restart Mobirise and try again.

Have you tried loading an automatic backup from the "History" that is a bit older? Perhaps even a few weeks back to ensure it's a version where everything was still functioning properly.

Thanks for the quick reply Tommy. When crashing, no error message is shown... it just goes white (see screenshot). Over the weekend it would conk out when trying to publish the css file and now (after adding more pages) it just crashes. There are over 650 html pages so I'm beginning to think there is a html file limit. There is no page name when it crashes.

I can't even export the site! Tried it today and it crashed just like above.

1) Is there any way to find a faulty block?
2) If worse comes to worse, is there any other website program that can take my Mobirise data? I think I will die a slow death if I need to remake 650+ pages again.

I don't know anyone who has ever packed 650 pages into a single project. That's just incredible

Every detail of a page is stored as text (JSON format) in the project file "project.mobirise". This file must be incredibly long, potentially containing tens of thousands of lines, making it practically unusable.

The recommended number of pages for Mobirise projects should not exceed 50-60 pages. It's clear that exceeding this limit poses a significant risk if the project crashes.

It would be quite simple to divide this overwhelming number of pages into multiple projects, publishing these projects in subdirectories on the domain and linking them together.

I'm sorry, but I'm at a loss for ideas. I can only suggest reaching out directly to Mobirise support to see if they have any suggestions for possible solutions.

You should still try to find a restore point by checking the "History" files and import it. You should have a rough idea of when the project was still functioning properly.

Even if you were to lose some of the most recently created pages, you could still save the majority of the project. This would also involve removing a seemingly faulty block.
